Your new Butterfly Wind Spinner will get the best reflection and catch more wind when the vanes (bands) are bent at a 65 degree angle. (See illustration below.) Also, please note the includes swivels on which the wind spinner is suspended, are stainless steel ball bearing style swivels that holds at least 1.5(lb)

Wind spinners are laser cut from 18-gauge electronically treated/ galvanized steel to prevent rusting and painted with a special baked on, powder-coated paint that gives them a high gloss resilient shine. The angles of cut steel provide several different surfaces for light to reflect from. As the wind spinner rotates, the reflections provide an illusion of the center image is undulating in and out to the outer ring of the wind spinner. As the spinner continues to rotate the reflections continue to pulse causing 3-D holographic like effect.

Many people that view the wind spinners assume they are battery powered because of the light that they emit. However, the light is actually a series of reflections coming in from different angles and reflected out in a sequence of sharp brilliant pulses.
